For those of us who have been working to prevent violence against children (VAC) for a long time, the 1st Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence against Children in Bogotá (7th – 8th November 2024) was a milestone event. Delegates from more than 130 countries converged to address the issue and more than 100 governments made pledges to take action.
